Green for Spring

Hey Friends! It’s spring break right now and I am excited. My husband and I are planning to take our son to the zoo.

What are your plans for spring break? Anyone going out of state or the country? That would be awesome! This year we want to take our son to Santa Barbara zoo. He just turned one and starting to notice and grow some love for animals. We normally take him to a local park nearby with a pond filled with ducks and swans. My son loves feeding them and wants to swim with them. So I know he will love it at the zoo.

Now, to my outfit. I’ve been loving pastels and blush pink for spring, but who doesn’t right? When your a blogger that’s the color we tend to gravitate to and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s pretty, easy on the eye and make great aesthetic for Instagram!

There’s something about green that draws my attention too. Just like the green top I’m wearing here. This top is from Target priced $19.99, so inexpensive and appropriate for Spring and Summer. I styled it with jeans and vans, because I know we were going to walk a lot that day. This green top can be easily styled with shorts or skirts which ever you prefer. I tend to wear jeans or shorts when out with my son, because I have to chase after him (my daily dose of cardio).

When we think of spring we often think of blooming flowers. But there’s also something about green surrounding that is relaxing and calm. I’ve been loving our green mountains thanks to the rain we received this past few months.

such a unique top! It looks like an ombre effect from afar but when you get near, it’s a nice green lace! brilliant!

That’s what I thought too when I was trying it on. It looked ombre. I am a sucker for lace anything, hence the style of this top. Thank you Courtney for you feedback.
