Hi Friends! This post will be more personal than a traditional outfit post. My husband, my son and I decided to take some family time and walk around downtown. Being a blogger I told my husband to take some photos so I can post them for you. As I was browsing through his shot I can’t help but be inspired with the photos he has taken and I had to share my thoughts with you. I know most of you are parents and if not you will someday. As a first time mom I struggle with TIME! I almost always lose track of time and I know many of you can relate. Personally, I blame technology being the culprit of stealing time from each and everyone of us. I myself is guilty of being on my phone all the time. Checking emails, social media, watching youtube videos and the list goes on. I mean one hour on our phone goes by like its only been a minute. Right?

It needs to STOP! We as parents, as an adult, we need to set an example to younger generation like my son, to your sons and daughters that QUALITY TIME means putting our devices a side and absorbing the little time we have with our loved ones. My son is only one and I can’t believe how fast that one year went by. I still can’t fathom that the little boy running around and picking up dirt to put in his mouth was the same boy I held delicately and depended solely on me to be fed. I watch every milestones he achieved and documented each and everyone of them. Now, they are all just a memory. Even though it was just last year, those moments I can’t go back and pause. I know most of you are tired from work, school, or whatever it is that you have done, but take some hour or two to put your devices down to look into your loved ones and appreciate their presence.

In addition to quality time, don’t forget to spend some quality time for yourself. Take the time to have fun and let lose! my photo for example crossing the rocks. I mean I personally was debating wether to post it or not, because it’s not the most glamorous photo of myself (Laughing out loud). I had to post it to show YOU that its okay to be silly, funny, dorky, whatever floats your boat. Just have fun and LIVE. We are so focused on our futures that sometimes or most of the time we neglect what is present. I hope you enjoy this post.

Sincerely,

Kamille
